The top portion is a sunset taken nearby on the Oregon Coast. Photoshop was used to combine (montage) the two photos, but the photos are otherwise "natural".

Photo taken on the west side of the lake near the North Rim entrance near Merriam Point, Llao Rock on the left side of the photo, center of lake looking toward the east. This photo makes it appear that one could fall right off the edge into Crater Lake. Actually, this is very, very possible since there were no guardrails or fences anywhere near us. It was at least a 1000 foot drop to the lake! Panorama created by combining four photos into one using Photomerge in Adobe Photoshop Elements 4.0.
